Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about OEM/ODM services, custom formulas, samples, minimum order quantities, production, and compliance documentation.

OEM, ODM & Customization

What OEM, ODM, and private label services do you provide?

We support projects from product brief to commercial shipment, including stock-formula private label, custom formulation, packaging sourcing, artwork coordination, pilot sampling, mass production, quality documentation, and shipping support. The exact scope is confirmed in your project quotation.

Can you develop a formula around our ingredients and product goals?

Yes. Our R&D team can develop or adapt a formula around your target consumer, texture, fragrance, hero ingredients, price point, and intended market. Requested benefits and claims are reviewed for technical feasibility, safety, test requirements, and local regulatory restrictions before they are confirmed.

Can you manufacture products under our own brand?

Yes. We can apply your branding to the product, primary packaging, labels, cartons, and shipping materials. We normally begin with digital artwork and packaging mockups; printed prototypes, custom colors, embossing, and new molds may require additional cost and lead time.

Can we supply our own packaging for filling at your factory?

Usually, yes. Before an order is confirmed, we need representative packaging samples to check line compatibility, fill volume, closure and seal performance, leakage risk, and material compatibility with the formula. Production can proceed only after the packaging passes the agreed checks.

How do you protect confidential briefs and formula information?

We can work under an NDA and limit project information to the teams involved in development and production. Formula ownership, exclusivity, permitted use of stock formulas, and access to technical files should be defined in the manufacturing agreement before development begins.

Samples & Formula Information

Can we order samples before committing to production?

Yes. Depending on the project, we can provide stock samples for quality evaluation or prepare a custom laboratory sample from an approved brief. Sample, custom development, packaging, and courier charges are quoted separately so you know what is included before work begins.

How long does sampling take?

Most first-round laboratory samples are prepared in about 7 business days after the brief, payment, and required materials are confirmed. Stock samples may be faster, while custom raw materials, special packaging, testing, or additional revision rounds can extend the schedule. Courier transit time is separate.

Can we receive a sample with our logo and final packaging?

We normally approve the formula using neutral sample packaging and provide a digital branded mockup first. A fully printed or tooled packaging sample can be arranged when needed, but printing plates, molds, minimum print quantities, and a longer sampling schedule may apply.

Can you provide the ingredient list before production?

Yes. We can provide a preliminary INCI list during evaluation and a final INCI declaration after the formula is approved. An SDS or MSDS is a safety and handling document, not a substitute for the cosmetic ingredient declaration. Detailed formula percentages are confidential and are shared only when required and covered by the appropriate agreement.

MOQ, Production & Delivery

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ typically starts from 3,000 units for selected products using standard components, but it varies by formula, pack size, printed packaging, and production process. Custom molds, special materials, or multi-part kits may have higher minimums. We confirm the MOQ per SKU after reviewing your brief.

Can we order in bulk or combine multiple SKUs in one shipment?

Yes. We support commercial production and can often consolidate completed SKUs into one shipment. Each formula and packaging configuration normally has its own MOQ, production status, and quality release, so the consolidation plan must be agreed before booking freight.

What is the typical production lead time?

Standard production is typically scheduled for 30–45 days after the formula, artwork, packaging, deposit, and purchase order are approved and all materials are available. Custom tooling, special components, regulatory testing, or peak-season capacity can add time. Your quotation will include the project-specific milestones.

How long does international shipping take?

Transit time depends on the destination, Incoterm, carrier, customs clearance, and whether you choose air, rail, express, or sea freight. We provide a route-specific estimate when the shipment is quoted rather than using one global delivery promise. Production lead time and freight transit time are shown separately.

Quality, Testing & Compliance

How do you verify product quality and safety?

Quality controls are defined for the product and may include raw-material review, in-process checks, finished-product specifications, microbiological testing, stability evaluation, and packaging compatibility testing. We provide the agreed reports and acceptance criteria for your project; no cosmetic product should rely on an unsupported blanket claim of being safe or effective for every user.

What technical and compliance documents can you provide?

Depending on the product and target market, the document package may include the final INCI list, product specification, Certificate of Analysis, SDS, microbiological or stability reports, and packaging information. Market notifications, safety assessments, Product Information Files, or importer and Responsible Person documents require coordination with the brand and the responsible party in that market.

Can we review factory certificates and supporting reports?

Yes. Relevant, valid documents can be shared for due diligence when they apply to the facility, production scope, product, and destination market. Because certificates and registrations have specific owners, scopes, and expiry dates, we confirm applicability instead of treating one document as universal approval for every SKU or country.
